Fitbit has a series of trackers and the Charge is their latest entry. It is an updated version of the Force, which Fitbit discontinued in (date). The newest feature on the Fitbit Charge is automatic sleep tracking – previous Fitbits required multiple taps in order to switch between activity mode and sleep mode. In our testing, we found that the Charge could tell the difference between sleeping and being idle – for example, leaving it on a nightstand.

Fun Feature

Automatic sleep tracking allows you to focus more on sleep and less on worrying if your sleep is being tracked.

What we wish it had

A “smart” alarm – the ability to wake you up during a light sleep cycle instead of a set time.

Compatible with

Windows 7/8, Mac OS X, iPhone 4s and newer, Android phones with Bluetooth 4.0, some Windows phones
