By far one of the more attractive calorie tracking apps on the market today, Noom Coach: Weight Loss was created by NYC-based Noom. One perk of the app is that it is scientifically proven to help its users lose weight. When you first begin you select your age, height, current weight, your goal weight and how fast you want to lose the weight. The homepage shows you items like how many more calories you can eat today, the healthiest thing you have eaten, and streaks (e.g. logging meals, healthy meals). Logging your exercise gives you more calorie credit for the day and you can easily input your weight so you can see how you are progressing. The Pro version of the app is $4.99 a month and offers group support, personalized encouragement from a Noom Coach, recipes as well as other features.
