One issue with food logging is it takes time and focus to add every food you eat every day. MealSnap was built to work around all the tedious adding and just have the user take a picture of what they are eating. You can write a caption about the food if you would like or even share it on Facebook or Twitter. The picture is sent and the Meal Snap’s system “auto-magically estimates the calories.” The home screen has a stream of food that you have taken a picture of and its calories. At the top of the homepage you have your total daily calorie count.
